The food was great and the service flown. Prices totally okay. So no problem going back there.

Nice restaurant, nice ambience, friendly and attentive service. The menu is a bit uninspired (Hawaiian chicken breast with curry sauce, schnitzel, grill plate). But despite a little convenience, it is well and tasty prepared.

Well. So no mistakes when it comes to the food. Service good and Bavarian nice (so a bit moody depending on the situation). A little more expensive, but you have to expect that at such a tourist hotspot.

Great restaurant. Got here early afternoon just before the kitchen was closing but glad we were in time for the delicious lunch we had. Good veggie options (maultausen for me) and the zander fillet for the better half and creative and tasty salads accompanying both. The local Lindauer Hell is a really good beer too. Two thumbs up!

Amazing restaurant - highly recommenced! The food was sooooo tasty, we had Schnitzel and Roast with Onionsauce, not greasy at all and absolutely delicious. Kids friendly as they provided a clean high chair and served my son’s dinner first. Very friendly stuff and welcoming interior. Bathroom was sparkly clean as well.

Great local restaurant filled with locals. Visited when went to lindau for Christmas market and found it was closed. Ended up going here on a locals recommendation.

I dont give 5 stars easily but given my recent experience in Restaurant Alte Post I think the team deserves it. We ordered sausages and sour cabagge and a mixed grill. We were served pretty fast. The quality and presentation of the food was great! Even, the small side salad consisted out of more then 7 veggies... I would recommend taking a coffee after your meal, cause then you get a nice selection of fresh home made cookies as shown on the picture. The "Apfelküchle" were just truly delicious. Furthermore, I liked the atmosphere and you could see how the team is more like a family (after the kitchen closes they all eat together). Just wonderful!

You can't beat the service. I was sitting on my chair for only a minute and already four different ladies had come out onto the terrace and noticed me as a new customer. I had the grill teller with bacon and brown beans in the mixed salad. Wonderful combination. The food is great (I am going back tonight) and the service is top notch.

Very cozy atmosphere, friendly service. We had grill plates. Very tasty only the fries were very dry. Pasta with Bolognese was great. Recommendable.

Typical German restaurant with local recepies and very nice atmosphere. I recommend to order fish from Bodensee - very tasty!

A nice old-school hotel. Room was not very big but very clean and thoughtfully furnished with free mineral water and a coffeemaker inside. Wi-Fi was fast, everything pristinely clean. Staff were very friendly, also letting me have breakfast ahead of time because I had to leave early. The fact that the restaurant, upon arrival, was packed with locals for dinner speaks for itself.

We ate well, the location is very nice and "cozy". For the same price, in Germany, probably is possible to find something better.

The dining experience was excellent. Had the pike-perch which was terrific.

Average restaurant. Very popular, but I still wonder why. Food was just okay, nothing special. Service was good. Not many vegetarian options... Be advised it can be very busy.

The restaurant is located in a pretty area of Lindau, in a small platz (square). The food was great, there was a good selection of local drinks. The service was very friendly but the food took a while to arrive.
